Sohn Investment Conference New York 2018 & Investment Idea Contest

Submit your investment idea to be judged by a panel of Larry Robbins, Seth Klarman, Bill Ackman, David Einhorn, and Joel Greenblatt.

The winner will present his or her idea at the Sohn Conference to more than 3,000 attendees.  The contest supports the Foundation's mission to treat and cure pediatric cancer and is sponsored by GLG (Gerson Lehrman Group).

Contest Start Date: March 13th, 2018

Submission Deadline: 12pm EST on April 5th, 2018

Rules: Long or short marketable security with market cap above $1 billion.

Invest For Kids Chicago Conference 2017 Right Around the Corner

The 9th annual Invest For Kids Chicago Conference is just under one month away.  It will feature top investors presenting their latest investment ideas in order to benefit smaller charitable organizations.  Over the past 8 years, they've supported 47 organizations with gifts of $150,000 to $225,000 each.  This year 7 organizations will be beneficiaries.

Inaugural Sohn Australia - Hearts and Minds Investment Leaders Conference (Marks, Zell, Ho & More)

The Sohn Conference Foundation has announced a partnership with the Hearts & Minds Investment Leaders Conference to create the inaugural Sohn Australia - Hearts & Minds Investment Leaders Conference.

This will be the premier investment conference in Australia and will take place on November 11, 2016 at the Sydney Opera House.  Like the other Sohn events around the world, it will feature top fund managers sharing investment ideas to benefit charity and good causes. 

Proceeds from Sohn Australia will be dedicated to medical research and care within the prestigious Victor Chang Cardiac Research Institute as well as the Black Dog Institute, MS Research Australia and JDRF Australia.

Great Investors' Best Ideas Symposium: Einhorn, Ackman, Bass, Chanos & More

Investment conference season is in full swing and up next on the circuit is the Great Investors' Best Ideas Investment Symposium in Dallas, Texas.

Invest For Kids: Chicago's Investable Ideas Conference

Invest For Kids is modeled after the Ira Sohn Conference and features prominent hedge fund managers presenting their latest investment ideas to benefit local children in Chicago. Last year the event sold out and raised $800,000. 100% of the money raised directly benefits children via local charities so it's a great cause.
